Ramsey Island and Grassholm Island - RSPB Nature Reserves

RSPB Islands Adventure

Spend the day visiting the RSPB’s magical Pembrokeshire Islands of
Grassholm and Ramsey.

The day begins at 9.30 with an exhilarating boat trip to Grassholm in the company
of an expert RSPB guide. The spectacular island of Grassholm is home to 32,000 pairs
of breeding gannets.

During the trip we look for Puffins and Shearwaters and many other seabirds as well
as Porpoise, Atlantic Grey Seals and possibly a glimpse of larger marine mammals.

We then proceed to Ramsey Island arriving at 11.30am. Here, your RSPB guide will
introduce  you to  this beautiful island nature reserve, home to chough,
peregrine, red deer and grey seals (all year) with a wealth of seabirds
on the western cliffs. The island’s two hills offers spectacular views
across the Pembrokeshire coast which you can admire over
lunch (please bring packed lunch with you)

Arriving back at the farmhouse and shop you will have
time to relax with light refreshments (tea, coffee,
cold drinks and snacks) while you await the
arrival of the boat to take you back to shore at 4.00pm.

Cost of the trip:  £54 adult, £42 a child.
£50 adult, £40 child for RSPB Members.
(RSPB Members are entitled to free entry into
over 200 RSPB Nature Reserves in the UK).
